About Kilian...
Kilian is an artist living in Coastal, North Carolina. He has worked in metal, various plastics, wood paper and computer design. until recently, Kilian's work and design varied from national newspapers to government construction projects, Home interiors to medical & forensic lab equipment, and even a part for the space shuttle. Now with a solid intuitive knowledge in how various materials work and perform Kilian embraces the "work" of art as communication and various mediums he refers to as languages.
"Kilian relates to materials and the environment in a natural way which is great... forms are simple shapes that evoke the coastal environment (driftwood, stones eroded by water and time) -- they're familiar and friendly." |
